Great experience at Mike's Garage! My son is at FSU while we live in Michigan. Spoke directly with Mike. Explained our situation and they took care of everything. Even better, they have a great system of communication technology in place including online payments, scheduling and follow up. We plan to use Mike's whenever necessary.

We had just purchased a used car and were driving it across the country. The service engine message came on and when we told the folks at our hotel in Tallahassee they told us to go to Mike’s Garage. We got there early on Saturday morning, and Mike had the car serviced in quick order. On top of that, when we told him it was a used car that we had just bought, he looked the car over just to make sure that everything was in good shape. It was nice to have a professional. Look at something we just bought when we were getting ready to drive it back across the country. I give five stars for Mike’s Garage!

This review has been six months in the making. I went to Mike’s Garage based on a recommendation from someone at Discount Tire and the positive reviews. I initially went in for a simple car alignment, but they told me my rear subframe was bent and said they were surprised I was even able to drive the car. They also said it would cost a lot of money to fix (nearly a 1000 dollars if my memory is correct), but either way, it was much more than the usual $100 for a tire alignment. I wanted to give Mike’s Garage the benefit of the doubt, so I decided to get a second opinion. A family friend’s mechanic recommended Sirmon’s Brake and Alignment. Due to their no-appointment policy and my schedule as a college student, I wasn’t able to go until today. After inspecting my car, they told me that neither the front nor rear subframe was damaged and that the only issue was my toe alignment. I don’t know why the people at Mike’s Garage thought they could get easy money out of me, but they should be ashamed. Obviously, this place has high ratings so at least some people have a good experience, but don't be surprised if they choose you as their next target to get money out of. And I am writing th

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding, honest service you can trust I can’t say enough good things about Mike’s Garage. My daughter is a student at FSU and I live far away, so finding a mechanic I could truly trust was critical, especially when she had electrical problems on her Volvo XC60, and Mike’s Garage delivered 100%. They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly, accurately, and without BS. Communication was excellent, I always knew what the problem was, what needed to be done, and why, all explained in terms I could understand. Most importantly, the pricing was very fair and there was absolutely no upselling or unnecessary work recommended. As a parent who can’t be there in person, that peace of mind is priceless. If you’re a student, parent, or anyone in Tallahassee looking for a mechanic who actually does what they say and charges fairly, this is the place. Highly recommended!

We were on a road trip when we had an accident that tore off one of our wheels. Unsure if it could be fixed quickly, we brought our car to Mike’s Garage. Jared took care of us and was absolutely fantastic! He was welcoming, extremely communicative, and kept us updated by phone at every step of the repair. Despite the extensive work needed (many parts had to be replaced), we were able to get back on the road in just 4 days! Huge thanks to Jared and the whole team at Mike’s Garage!
